Taffy: A Divine Instrument Against the Demonic Forces of Evil will have it's Missouri premiere at The Bird Watching International Film Festival on Thursday, November 20th at The Bird Comedy Theater in Kansas City's Crossroads District.

The film, which debuted earlier this year at the renowned Tallgrass FIlm Festival, was described as "funny, gory, and quotable," by Shout Wichita reviewer Anna Andersen, who went on to praise leads Hannah Unruh and Jamie Campbell as having "teriffic warm chemistry and combined comedic timing." The glowing review left Colter Lemmon's directorial debut in very good company calling it "Buffy the Vampire Slayer meets The Office."

This is the inaugural year for Bird Watching International, and it's an incredible honor for Taffy to be the opening night feature. Taffy is among a slate of great indie films in a variety of genres. It will screen at 7pm along with the shorts Adam is Dead and Window Shopping. Tickets can be purchased on the EVENT PAGE.
