Colter Lemmon (Writer/Director)
Colter G. Lemmon is a filmmaker / performer based out of Kansas City. After meeting his future wife at a summerstock theatre company, he transferred schools from The University of Nebraska at Kearney to Emporia State University in Kansas where he graduated with BFA in Theater in 2016. He immediately started his professional career, working with local theaters and joining the KC Improv Company. In 2021 he and 2 fellow comedians opened The Bird Comedy Theater. There he works with local comedians performing Improv, Standup and Sketch.
Patrick Poe & Lolo Loren (Producers/Cinematographers)
Patrick Poe and Lolo Loren are award winning cinematographers, producers, directors and editors, and are the co-founders of IX Film Productions, a full-service production house located in Shawnee, Kansas.
Patrick and Lolo have been working together as a creative team since 2012, and in that time have won many awards for the 7 feature films they have produced and over 30 short films, and in 2023 and 2024 were voted "Best Filmmaker in Kansas City" in the Pitch Magazine.
They are dedicated to making the world a funnier place, one film at a time. They are thrilled and honored to have been a part of bringing Taffy to the screen.
Brandon Durkes (producer)
Brandon Durkes has been doing film & comedy professionally and unprofessionally for about fifteen years. He and his pals founded The Bird Comedy Theater in 2021, where he serves as the Artistic Director & General Manager.
He created The Anarchy Fun Time Show in 2017. His films “A Dinner Party” “Kickball” & “The Fountain City Smoketacular” have screened throughout the Midwest. Some of his accolades include directing both the Best of KC Fringe film “A Dinner Party” (Bird in the Middle, 2017) & sketch show “The Best of Fountain City Sketch” (The KC Improv Company, 2017).
When he’s not doing comedy, he likes to watch pro wrestling and play JRPGs.
Jamie Campbell (producer)
In addition to his on-screen role in the film, Jamie Campbell is thrilled be one of the producers of Taffy.
Jamie is also an Executive Producer on the horror-comedy feature They Might Be Monsters. As a screenwriter, Mike Medavoy, the Oscar-nominated producer of Black Swan, called his script for Kirby in Limbo "endlessly compelling."
Jamie has contributed to the script for Gingerbread Men, which will hit theaters next year from Clearlight Entertainment and his horror script, Sneakerhead is currently in pre-production with Torfoot Entertainment.
